In charge of the Estació Vegana kitchen are chefs Nuria and Marina.
We decided one day to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and contemplate the slow change of the seasons from behind the walls of our house in the Montseny. We have not only fled from heavy traffic and noise,stresses and strains, but from a conventional life as well. After trying out a series of professional tasks within the fields of health and welfare we have found our common ground in cooking.
Together we have discovered that a whole world of flavours and textures could be created by using 100% vegetable ingredients.
As we tasted new recipes we felt the need to share them with friends and family. Hence the idea of a craft cuisine that can be shared with everyone through catering and fairs. Estació Vegana is our way of connecting with people, offering our service and exchanging knowledge to learn from each other.

The world is always in a rush, this is why we have chosen to cook over a low heat.
We rescue recipes passed on from one generation to another, with their Mediterranean taste, and when necessary we have changed some of the ingredients to ensure strictly vegan dishes.
The world as we know it is very diverse and we are open to it. As a result we have added to our recipes dishes from other cultures.
Our passion for food is not only based on tradition but on diversity as well. Therefore the main ingredient we cherish in our cooking is the love we put in every dish, our craft cooking.
Furthermore we firmly believe in the importance of using strictly ecological local products. Local products encourage direct relationships with farmers and suppliers, cutting out middlemen/ women. Ecological because we are aware of the importance of looking after the environment so as to ensure produce and soil are free from harmful substances for the health . For this reason the produce we use is seasonal, we respect the ripening process of it.

Estació Vegana was born out of our wish to contribute to social changes. For us cooking goes beyond the simple pleasure of tasty food.
These following principles stand as our recipes and commitment.
1. Respect towards other species.
Our cooking takes sides in the struggle in favour of anti species i . e to stand on behalf of animals of other species that are being murdered and exploited daily with the aim of turning them into food ready to be eaten. Our dishes are devoid of animal cruelty and hence they contain no animals, nor derivatives such as eggs or dairy products.
2. Dress with a fair amount of love towards our planet.
We use local seasonal produce because we believe it is a very good way to look after the land. We insist on their being ecological so as to reduce the chemical impact on our planet.
Everything we use in our kitchen ( machines, dishes, cleaning products ) is in accordance with the highest regard towards the environment.
